Provided EPC Project Management for the delivery of a 134MW wind farm in Central NSW, leading a multidisciplinary EPC team of more than 20 staff and overseeing a peak site workforce of approximately 200 personnel. Responsible for HSEQ, budget and schedule performance across the project, including major public road upgrades, quarry development, balance of plant design and construction, and the procurement and management of key logistics and turbine erection contracts.
Provided EPC Project Management for the delivery of a 150MW solar farm in South East Queensland, leading bankable design refinement and head contract execution following comprehensive constructability reviews. Established a specialist EPCM project team and implemented robust project controls, including risk and opportunity management, ISO-accredited HSEQ systems, cost and cash flow forecasting, detailed work programming, procurement, and subcontract management to support successful project delivery.
Provided EPC Contractor capability support during the financial close phase of a first-of-a-kind, large-scale green hydrogen project, assisting with tender processes and shortlisted contractor negotiations. Delivered key project development inputs including constructability reviews, cost estimates, risk and opportunity assessments, forecast scheduling, market testing and contracting strategies to support commercial readiness and successful transition into project execution.
Provided Project Controls services within the Owner’s team for a major tailings storage expansion project, supporting the delivery of critical infrastructure required to extend life-of-mine operations, including modifications to existing facilities and construction of new enabling infrastructure. Led the development and management of the integrated Project Master Schedule, implemented and enhanced project controls for planning and cost management, analysed contractor construction methodologies, fleet utilisation, production rates and baseline schedules, and strengthened cost control, forecasting and cash flow processes to support informed decision-making, budget performance and successful project delivery.
Provided Project Services Management for a major shutdown work package on critical Australian infrastructure, leading the delivery of a complex multidisciplinary scope with a peak workforce of approximately 350 personnel. Managed engineering, planning, cost controls and project administration functions while coordinating specialist subcontractors across welding, boiler engineering, electrical and planning services. The work encompassed structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation activities across multiple plant areas, including the refurbishment and overhaul of the Waste Heat Boiler, ensuring safe, efficient and coordinated shutdown execution.
Provided Construction Engineering, and Project Controls services for the delivery of a greenfield gas compression facility, supporting works from foundation construction through to the installation of the gas turbine compression train and associated process infrastructure. Responsibilities included the installation of SPMT-positioned auxiliary structures, air-cooled heat exchangers, coalescer filters and high-pressure interconnecting pipeline systems, together with erection sequencing, progress monitoring, work forecasting, QA inspections and interface management to support safe and efficient project delivery.
Provided Construction Engineering services for the manufacture, assembly and installation of an 8,000tph coal export ship loader, supporting all phases from detailed design through to final installation. Responsibilities included coordination of detailed modelling and manufacturing documentation, offshore and onshore procurement management, construction sequencing and heavy lift engineering during fabrication and assembly in Malaysia, heavy lift vessel transport engineering, and installation of the ship loader at a Queensland export terminal.
Coordinated and managed the engineering, design and construction phases for a fertiliser bagging line upgrade, overcoming complex brownfield integration and shutdown challenges. The project was completed on schedule, successfully commissioned and exceeded performance targets, earning executive-level recognition for outstanding collaboration and operational outcomes.
Developed and presented a feasibility study for the delivery of a 5,000t Ammonium Nitrate Storage Facility on behalf of a multinational corporation. Led key front-end development activities including site investigations, scope definition, concept design modelling and drafting, commercial risk and opportunity assessments, major works package development and tendering, detailed project scheduling, cost estimating and cash flow forecasting across development, financial close and execution phases.
Managed the Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) phase for the development of an innovative 240,000tpa waste-to-energy facility, supporting design constructability and execution planning for a first-of-its-kind technology application. The project incorporated three gasification process trains, advanced filtration systems to meet stringent EU emission standards, and a 20MW steam turbine and generator for grid power export. Established and led an experienced ECI team, coordinating key deliverables across design validation, cost estimation, risk and opportunity assessment, scheduling, market testing, contracting strategies and head contract review. Worked closely with international design partners to refine the design approach, navigate emerging regulatory requirements and develop a robust constructability strategy aligned with Australian standards and project delivery objectives.
